Answer first

This puzzle connects the number display to a cooperative interaction elsewhere on the island. Start with the spoiler-free hint below, then move to the stronger hint or full solution only when your group wants more detail.

Spoiler-free hint

Do not search the room around the number display for a code entry panel. Treat both four-digit numbers as positions somewhere else on the island.

Stronger hint

Open the map and split each number into two pairs: 41 / 66 and 18 / 99. The first pair in each coordinate identifies the larger grid area; the second pair narrows the position within it. Your destination is in the southern railway area.

Full solution

Reveal the complete coordinates, button location, and cooperative step

Use the map to locate coordinate 4166, 1899. Travel south until you reach the railway and the damaged train, then search the rocks beside the tracks. The remote button is hidden behind those rocks.

Leave one player at the button. That player must keep it held down while a second player goes back to the building where the numbers appeared. Holding the remote button opens the reward there; pressing it and immediately walking away will not complete the cooperative step.

Optional GPS method

One independent walkthrough reports that an in-game GPS-style device displays the player's current coordinates, allowing the holder to move until the readout approaches 4166, 1899. Because that method currently has only one source in our archive, treat it as an optional lead rather than a confirmed alternative. The verified map route above remains the primary solution.
